Complex screening and treatment get extra attention among the surgical and conservative treatments we offer. Our health centre fulfils all the functions of a modern spinal treatment centre. The Buda Health Center has a wide range of diagnostic and treatment possibilities for the treatment of spinal disorders, and inpatient treatment is provided if necessary.

Diagnostic and screening procedures

The procedures aim at finding the causes of spinal pain. To achieve it the BHC provides specialist examinations and consultations as well as comprehensive laboratory and radiological examinations. MR examinations are also available to diagnose disc disorders, slipped disk or disc deterioration. CT examinations, other complementary bone examinations (bone isotope, osteodensitometria) are also possible. Sometimes the organic alteration of the spine lies behind spinal complaints. In this case the wide range of specialist doctors is available in the Health Centre to offer additional examination and a differential diagnosis.

Therapy, treatment

Conservative (non-surgical) treatments are usually done on an outpatient basis, but hospitalisation is also possible. A targeted motion therapy, therapeutic exercises conducted by a specialist and tailored for actual personal condition, and if necessary, different types of electrotherapies may be given. If injection techniques or infusion treatment is necessary, we apply these therapies under the surveillance of an internist.

After learning the exercises our patients may get an audio recording containing their own personal physiotherapy. A manualtherapeutic medical masseur also helps the complete healing of our patients. During the treatment there is continuous contact and feedback between the physiotherapist, the medical masseur and the doctor.
