Guarantee for dental works

Our dental service provider offers  guarantee for the following products:

Your Guarantee

This Guarantee applies to your remedial dental work and can be validated only if this document is present. Annual check-ups in every 12 months are mandatory at our clinics (either in Budapest or London - the cost of yearly check up is £ 50) to keep this guarantee.

Our Clinic offers a guarantee on the implants that is in line with or in some cases exceeds that offered by UK clinics. In case of a failure our dentists will place another implant at no additional cost to you.  Please note, we do not refund the price of the implant(s) and/or the oral surgical procedure(s). We neither refund the price of any other dental treatments or loss of income involved during the time of treatment(s).

Extent of guarantee:

The guarantee applies to: if the dental restoration - under normal conditions of use - broke, loosen, crack, discolour, the filling fell out, we will restore, repair or change it for free of charge. In the case of implants the guarantee is only valid if our dental clinic completes the full work (places the crowns and/or bridges as well).

The guarantee will be reduced or invalidated if:

-          oral hygiene is neglected

-          dentist's instructions are not followed

-          removable restorations, such as partial dentures or full dentures are not used,

           maintained properly

-          you do not attend the practice for check-ups at least once every 12 months

-          the gum tissue or teeth bone is naturally reducing

-          substantial amount of weight loss or gain occurs within a short period of time

-          a general illness is present which has an unfavourable effects on the chewing organ

           (e.g. diabetes,  epilepsy, osteoporosis, after-condition excessive X-rays or

           chemotherapy)

-          damage caused by accidents, sports or any third party

-          smoking or drug abusing occurs

-          payment obligations are not fulfilled

The guarantee does not apply for the following:

-          allergies, tooth illnesses and their consequences exfoliated after treatment and was

           not noticeable before intervention

-          damages caused by extreme stressing (grinding at night, grip of the teeth)

-          damage of those dental restorations that were tried to be restored by an other, not a

           team member of our practice (e.g.: dentist, dental technician)

-          temporary dentures, crowns or bridges

-          bone grafting procedures (bone block, bone augmentation, sinus lift, bone from hip)

-          tooth-whitening procedure

-          the inappropriate selection of the colour and shape of the dental work by the patient

           (we provide opportunity to choose during the preparation but we cannot take 

           responsibility for the decision of the patient).

-          root canal treatment (root canal treatments has high risk factors, guarantee cannot

           be given to them, because the anatomic differences and the large number of

           variations cannot assure everything even under the most careful dental treatment.

Please note, that if your tooth or root canal unexpectedly (not seen during the diagnosis, X-ray or consultation) injures, opens during the preparation of fixed prosthetic works (crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays) Batorfi Dental Implant Clinic does not take any responsibility for the need of root canal treatments in these cases but does everything for the final, right treatment which shall be carried out at the patient's expense (complex root canal treatment, root extraction, plan for the new prosthetic works and the preparation).

In the case of veneers you need to note that even the most precisely and adequately fitted veneers can fall off many times. This is not to be blamed on the dentists' or the dental technician's work. In the case of this failure the cost of travelling, accommodation and loss of income shall be borne by the patient. The guarantee does apply to travelling expenses, the cost of rebonding of the veneer(s) by your own dentist, accommodation expenses or loss of income. The guarantee applies to the rebonding of the veneer(s) in Budapest if the patient travels to Budapest on own expenses, there is no alternative for rebonding in London.

The guarantee does not include travelling and accommodation costs and is only valid for remedial dental work.
